Red– High Power & Ultimate Performance

• By adjusting the calibration of torque limits on the engine, at lower RPM you will benefit from additional performance and improved economy.

• At higher RPM the software will encourage shifting up through the gearbox, to keep the engine running in its optimal performance window.

Hot Start Fix

If you have a PD diesel engine fitted to your vehicle and it struggles to start when hot, this is known as a hot start problem. PD engines are started by a ‘start map’ in the engine control unit (ECU). The engine control unit will not let the engine start until the engines RPM is above a fixed value. Such problems can be a result of low battery voltage, coolant temperature faults or the starter motor. The problem may also be the hot start map within the engine control unit.

Lambda/O2 Delete

If you have installed a sports Cat or a decat pipe to your vehicle you may have a fault code displayed on the dashboard (P0420 & P0430).This an emissions fault code which will not go away until its deleted out of the ECU.

Start/Stop Disable

This has become more and more popular over the years. Many people getting frustrated with the modern start stop systems and have asked for a solution to disable it. Our solution is to delete it out of ECU which will disable the function permanently.

Speed Limiter Removal

We can remove the speed limiters out of most vehicles allowing the vehicle to reach its top speed. This is done by disabling the speed limiter in the engine control unit.

Swirl Flap Delete

Vehicle intake flap failures can be expensive to replace or repair. We can delete the swirl flaps out of the ECU which will stop any EML (engine management lights) or fault codes being displayed.

Pop & Bangs

As you lift your foot off the throttle, your exhaust starts popping, crackling and gurgling!

Hard Cut/Popcorn Limiter

A popcorn limiter changes the way your vehicle behaves when the engine hits the rpm limiter. With a popcorn limiter installed the engine will bounce at the rev limiter in a similar way to a petrol hard cut limiter.

DSG Gearbox Tuning

Total Performance Remapping also offer DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) gearbox tuning. The DSG is a semi automatic system that has two clutches. When a gear is selected the next gear is automatically pre-selected allowing for much faster gear changes. This system is more fuel efficient when compared to single clutch systems as less energy is wasted when transferring the power to the wheels.

DSG Gearbox Benefits

DSG Automatic Gearboxes have maximum torque limits set by the manufacturer. We can increase this value allowing the vehicle to perform at its maximum potential. We raise the DSG torque limiter to match the engine torque being produced resulting in much better performance. We can also adjust RPM limits and shift set points resulting in overall improved performance. Other benefits include:
